Military Family Outing - TBD
his will be the third consecutive year that the Twin Cities Chapter of Muskies Inc. has co-sponsored Military Family Fishing Day with Fishing for Life. It will be on Friday, June 24th, starting from Maynards on Lake Minnetonka.
People typically launch out of Gray's Bay after 6:00 a.m. and arrive at Maynards shortly before 7:00 a.m. Volunteers meet up with their military families and then take them out for a morning of fishing. Every one returns about noon for lunch and an awards program. It is a multi-species event, so everyone catches fish. Fishing for Life provides worms for people interested in pursuing panfish.
If you would be willing to be one of the volunteers, who will take military families out fishing that day, please contact Tom Keith. We need at least 20 volunteers to meet the needs of the families. All kids will be given a complimentary package of lures from the TC Chapter of Muskies Inc.
